For the past few days Google’s new IM application, has been the talk of everybody on the web. Since I first heard of the launch, I couldn’t resist and almost inmediatly I downloaded it. The inteface is nice, it doesn’t have that “awe” google factor, but still is but still very clean the XMPP-based signaling protocol for voice calls is very good quality and overall it does a good job, but other than that there’s nothing new others clients can’t do.

Well it seems Google’s plans for world domination are getting bigger and bigger, the fact that they already had a wiki page before they even launch Google Talk and the rumors of Google buying Skype, but I think that will never happend, Google is most smarter than that.

Well so what’s next?..oh yea you guess it!, the browser market and while Microsoft talks about the release of Longhorn with all this new features, Google is just getting into all the action and showing them who’s gonna take their place very soon. And that’s just the start.
