OpenID is a user centric framework for user authentication, wich enables users to login into web applications that support OpenID using a unique URL that identifies them everywhere, passwords and other credentials stay safely stored on the OpenID provider of the users choice. Wich means no more “I forgot my password” situations and a happier internet experience.
The future looks very promising, and we should all start adopting this type of technology that want to make managing identity as simple as it can be.
